The Rail – Our Stylist’s Top Picks For Spring

31st March 2021

Jane Young The-Rail-Spring-heade

Put a little spring in your step with our stylist’s favourite picks. A gorgeous mix of golden, mustard yellows with tonal shades of blue. What’s not to love.

Our stylist shares her top tips on how to update your wardrobe this Spring.

What key items will refresh our wardrobes this Spring?
Getting your basics right is the best place to start, a classic shirt can work well in the transitional part of the season as temperatures are just beginning to rise. A soft knit in yellow will beat the chill but add a beautiful pop of colour. Add a twist to the staple Breton by choosing a lighter blue shade in a more contemporary cut.

What are you most excited to see in this Springs collections?
I really love the new florals from Maxmara Weekend. There is something for everyone from shirt dresses and skirts with small disty prints to a much bolder pattern in simple tailored dresses and trousers.

We can’t wait to get back outdoors again, what coat would you recommend for Spring?
You can never go wrong with a classic trench, have some fun this season with Marella’s yellow version, this lovely shade of colour will refresh any wardrobe. We’ve all got used to staying at home in our loungewear so accessorise your new coat with some comfortable white trainers from Paul Smith and this perfect little bag from Essentiel Antwerp.

The main thing is to have fun this Spring and enjoy your wardrobe whilst meeting up again with all your friends and family.
